Energy-efficient elevators

Supercapacitors are used to store the regenerative electric energy generated by elevators when descending with heavy loads. When the elevator is in a power-consuming state, the supercapacitors release the stored electric energy to supply power to the elevator. This can effectively reduce electric energy consumption, especially in high-rise buildings, where the energy consumption of elevators can account for 5% to 15% of the total energy consumption of the building.
